If you are a Swiss citizen and you are at least 18, which is the age of majority in Switzerland, you can vote.
If you live in the canton of Glarus, you can vote from the age of 16, but only at the cantonal and communal levels.

If you live in Switzerland, you do not need to register to vote in federal elections and popular votes. As soon as you meet the conditions for voting, you are automatically registered on the electoral roll of your commune of residence.
If you have not received the voting material for a popular vote three weeks before the vote, contact your commune to check where there is a problem.
