Cars, vans, lorries, buses and motorcycles must drive with their lights on during the day. Anyone driving without lights can expect a fine of CHF 40.

Mopeds, e-bikes and e-scooters must also drive with their lights on during the day. Anyone driving without lights can expect a fine of CHF 20. The lights-on requirement does not apply to bicycles.
